Kevin Roberts, a 32-year-old labourer of Queens-town, Essequibo Coast, was last week sentenced to one month in prison for assaulting his wife on March 9.
A release from the police said that last Thursday, Roberts appeared at the Suddie Magistrate’s Court, before Magistrate Tamieka Clarke, where the charge was read to him. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to one month imprisonment.
Roberts assaulted his wife, Annalisa Francis, on Sunday, March 9, at Queenstown, Essequibo Coast.
