Ballers United was crowned the Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ Berbice Champion, dethroning holders East Bank Gunners 1-0 on Saturday evening at the New Amsterdam Basketball Tarmac.

Lomar Reid recorded the only conversion of the contest to seal the $500,000 first prize and the championship trophy. They also secured an automatic berth to the national championship, which is slated for September in Georgetown.

On the other hand, East Bank Gunners, who have won the title on two occasions, walked away with $300,000 and the runner-up award.
