-amid EPA review
Skyline Contracting Services is moving ahead with the construction of its multi-million-dollar hotel and theme park in Middlesex Village, Canal No. 2 Polder, West Bank Demerara even as the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) conducts its mandatory public review.
According to a public notice issued by the EPA, the agency is currently considering an application for environmental authorization for the project, which is being undertaken by developer Krishna Persaud. The notice invites public comments and concerns within a 30-day period before the agency issues its final decision.
It is unclear how building of the hotel and other project works are ongoing without the environmental authorization.
