A fire of unknown origin completely destroyed a two-storey wooden and concrete home and its contents at around 07:00 am at 124 Third Street, Martyr’s Ville, Mon Repos, East Coast Demerara, leaving two homeless.
No one was reported injured.
Relatives of Vanesh Ramlochan, a 21-year-old construction worker and his 17-year-old sister who occupied the home, are requesting help from the public to help the two rebuild. All the furnishings in the three-bedroom home were destroyed along with important documents and supplies purchased to start a food business next week.
