Dear Editor,
Mr. Aubrey Hutson, who helpfully and caringly allows older athletes an advance start of 40-50 minutes ahead of the elites encouraging their participation in national athlete events, would have been a greater asset in the development and progress of track and field sports in Guyana especially road, track, cross-country distances. Some of those presently chosen as leaders of the national athlete body AAG are not worthy, and are counter-productive in many aspects.
