The Ministry of Culture, Youth & Sport/National Sports Commission/Janet & Cheddi Jagan Memorial Schools Windball Cricket tournament saw intense action at the Berbice High School Ground, New Amsterdam, Berbice, with thrilling performances from both the boys’ and girls’ teams on Wednesday.

In the boys’ category, New Amsterdam Multilateral School (NAMS), after being invited to bat first, posted a modest total of 46-3. Donavan Newland led the charge with a solid 25, while Ravindra Persaud shone with the ball, taking 2-5 for Berbice High School. In response, the hosts chased down the target comfortably, reaching 48-2. Balram Chappelle played a match-winning knock of 27 to seal the victory for Berbice High School.
