The Athletics Association of Guyana’s (AAG) Carifta Games Trials got underway yesterday at the National Track & Field Centre (NTFC), Edinburgh, West Coast Demerara and wraps up today at the same venue.
There was a strong turnout of athletes as the association began preparations for the upcoming Carifta Games in Trinidad and Tobago from April 19-21. While there were a number of events completed yesterday, up to the press time the AAG had not yet released the results from the day’s competition as they were in the process of sorting through possible qualifications.
