(Trinidad Guardian) The home of murdered former police officer Arkim Baker was set on fire Saturday morning.
Police confirmed no one was at home when the fire started.
Fire officials reported receiving a call about a house fire on Maraj Street, Quarry Road, San Juan, around 4 am. When they arrived, they found a two-storey concrete house ablaze. After the fire was extinguished, they learned the property belonged to Baker.
Baker, a father of two, was shot in the chest by a masked gunman while working behind the counter at Bobby’s Bar, Curepe, around 2 am on March 17.
