The licence of Mohamed’s Enterprise Security Service was on Wednesday suspended, sources say.
The suspension was signified in a letter by Police Commissioner Clifton Hicken to Managing Director of the security service, Nazar Mohamed.
Mohamed now has 15 days to say why the suspension should not be continued, sources say. This is the latest move by the state against the Mohameds since they were accused of gold smuggling and money laundering by the United States under its Global Magnitsky Act.
