Tropical 7s Rugby

Five Guyanese players, the most for any nation on the entire roster, were selected as part of the West Indies 7s programme to compete at the Tropical 7s Championship from April 18th-19th in Tampa, Florida, USA.

The five selected are Lionel Holder, Godfrey Broomes, Tyrese Prescod, Owen Adonis, and Vallon Adams.

The Tropical 7s, which will be held in Tampa, Florida, from April 18th to 19th, is one of the world’s premier rugby events. It features elite teams in the categories of Senior, U-23, U-18, U-16, U-14, and U-12 (coed) in both men’s and women’s divisions.
