Officers secured their place in the final of the Police Commissioner Cup T20 Championship, defeating Region #2 by three wickets yesterday in the semifinal round at the Eve Leary ground. Batting first, Region #2 was dismissed for 134 in 19 overs. Lance Roberts held together the innings with 71 runs, which contained five boundaries and six maximums. The next best scorer with 16 runs was Fazeer Khan, while extras added 13. Damion Vantull and Ramesh Chattergoon chipped in with 11 and 10 runs, respectively.
Ivor Trotz was the pick of the bowlers with 3-9, while Troy Benn was also among the wickets with 3-24.
