During the pandemic persons took up chess as a hobby and as a challenge. Solving puzzles became popular. Each week the column gives a puzzle and the solutions are given the following week. I have no doubt that serious chess players benefit from solving puzzles in Guyana and internationally. I came across this puzzle which I found interesting. Through a combination White plays and wins.
The solution is as follows- Be3 if Qa6 Qxa6 bxa6 Rxc8 Rxc8 Bxe6 or if Qxb2 Rxc8.
