Gladiators won the inaugural Bartica Premier League T20 Cricket Championship, defeating Super Strikers by 21 runs in the final at the Daag Point Ground.

Batting first after winning the toss, Gladiators were bowled out for 182 on the penultimate ball of the reduced 15 overs contest.

Leon Swamy top scored for Gladiators with an aggressive 48 runs from 15 balls, which comprised seven maximums and a boundary. He was supported by Kelvin Orford, who chipped in with 34 runs, which contained three maximums and as many boundaries, while Jermaine Dover made 28 from 11 deliveries in a brief cameo.
