Chrislyn Alleyne, a 25-year-old shopkeeper of Triangle Backdam, North West District, was arrested on 28th March 2025 by a rank from Port Kaituma Police Station and was later charged with the offence of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
Alleyne appeared at the Baramita Police Station before Magistrate Rabindranauth Singh, via Zoom, to answer the charge. She pleaded guilty and was fined $261,900 or six months imprisonment.
