YBG Georgetown Conference

St. Stanislaus College, President’s College (PC), and Tutorial High recorded wins in the Boy’s U-16 division when the Youth Basketball Guyana (YBG) Georgetown Regional Conference continued yesterday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall on Homestretch Avenue.

Tutorial dismantled West Demerara 24-12. Keion Lynch tallied 12 points and five steals while Riquan Brusche added four points and five rebounds. For the loser, Nathaniel Sanichara tallied seven points.

St. Stanislaus College overcame a 12-point deficit to defeat New Central 45-41. Demitri Crandon led the comeback with 23 points and nine rebounds, while Alexander McKellar supported with 13 points and eight rebounds.

A moment in the President’s College and Marian Academy fixture.

On the other side, Stephan Duke tallied a double-double of 16 points, 11 blocks, and 10 rebounds, while Alistair Adams registered 14 points.

President’s College thrashed Marian Academy 43-11. Romarion Wolfe recorded 17 points while Ricardo Ramdihal added eight points and seven rebounds. For the loser, Emmanuel Rondon netted five points.

In the Girl’s Division, President’s College mauled Marian Academy 33-2. Junelly Paddy tallied 14 points, nine rebounds, and five steals, while Kenesha Fraser and Sarah Williams scored six points apiece.

Likewise, Queen’s College thumped West Demerara 26-2. Ricielle Fowler led the rout with 16 points, while Christa McClure added six points and as many rebounds.
