Dear Editor,
I am sorry I was not in Guyana for the weekly mini carnival in East Street under the theme of ‘Torment the Commissioner of Information’. Food on tap plus many members of the soi disant ‘civil’ (in name if not in nature) society bawling. A demo a week to force Retired Justice Ransom out of office. I hear this week the carnival will be moving to outside the Office of the President. I hope the armed guards and others treat them all with respect and kindness. It is called democracy.
