Speeding biker dies at Houston

Police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at about 2.15 pm today on the Houston public road, in the vicinity of Rahaman’s Park, involving motorcycle #CH 8290 owned and driven by Brian Paul McKenzie, a 55-year-old resident from Corriverton, Berbice.

The Guyana Power and Light Inc will today relocate its network to facilitate road expansion works and the Ogle roundabout. As a result, customers between Industry to Chateau Margot along the Railway Embankment, North and South of the Embankment will experience a service interruption from 5:00hrs to 13:00 hrs.
