A wanted man was on Friday remanded to prison, after he appeared before a city court to answer to three armed robbery charges.
It is alleged that Sean Goodluck, 23, while being in the company of another and while armed with a gun, on January 4, 2019, at Trench Road, Mandela Avenue, robbed Devon Florimonte of a $75,000 gold chain.
It is also alleged that on January 5, 2019, at Lot 39 Broad Street, Georgetown, while being armed with a gun, he robbed Shazer Blackett of a gold chain valued $600,000.
The final charge read that on January 9, 2019, at New Market Street, East Ruimveldt, in the company of another, while being armed with a gun, Goodluck robbed Nash Moe of $10,000 cash, a cell phone valued $70,000, as well as $70,000 belonging to Massy Distribution Ltd.
Goodluck pleaded not guilty to the charges, which were read to him by Senior Magistrate Leron Daly, of the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
Police Prosecutor Sanj Singh, objected to bail because Goodluck is wanted by the police for a similar offence.
Goodluck was remanded to prison until March 1, when his next hearing will be held.
