New harbour bridge completion further delayed to August –Edghill

-to allow for proper setting of concrete The completion of the new Demerara Harbour Bridge has now been pushed back from March 31 to August 31 of this year – a five-month delay – to allow for sections of the concrete structure to properly set, a process which cannot be rushed, Minister of Public Works Juan Edghill says.
