We are in the holiday season, and more than just Christmas lights will be illuminating our homes. The glee of shopping, celebration, and simply being surrounded by loved ones accentuates the thrill of the festive season. But before we get too caught up in the festive frenzy, let’s hit the brakes for a second and talk about something important: drinking and driving.
We all comprehend how sorrowful it is to suffer a road mishap, much less one during this festive time; we don’t want that. As such, let’s strive for a holiday season where the roads are filled with cheer, everyone is heading to their celebrations safely, and the ride home is peaceful and stress-free. No accidents, no worries—just laughter and love. That’s the kind of holiday we all deserve.
If you plan to enjoy a festive drink, please think ahead: designate a driver, take a taxi, or use public transport—whatever it takes to make sure the only thing we risk this Christmas is gaining a few extra pounds. So, as you raise a glass (or two), why not raise your level of responsibility too?
