Scotiabank customers now have another ATM machine they can use with the bank’s opening of a new one at the MovieTowne Mall (in the vicinity of Massy Stores Guyana), East Coast Demerara.
A release from the bank said the new machine has enhanced operational features and design elements such as touch-screen capability.
“We continue to invest and grow our operations here in Guyana. By expanding our ATM footprint, we’re extending our financial services beyond our existing branches, providing you with greater access to conduct your banking safely and conveniently,” Scotiabank’s Country Manager Nafeeza Gaffoor was quoted as saying in the release.
According to the release, features of the new ATM include:
• Cash Withdrawal (local and foreign issued cards)
• Credit Card Cash Advance (local and foreign issued cards)
• Bill Payment
• Top Up Mobile
• Transfer Between Accounts
• Credit Card/Loan Payment via Transfer
• Balance Inquiry
• Mini Statement Generation
• Change PIN
“Having been named Guyana’s Best Digital Bank 2024 by Global Finance and Bank of the Year 2024 by The Banker, we are committed to continuous improvement and enhancing our service to clients. Additional locations for ATMs are being reviewed so look out for these as 2025 progresses,” Gaffoor further said in the release.
The opening of this new ATM location follows a recent upgrade of the bank’s ATMs at Pegasus Corporate Suites, Marriott, Eugene Correia (Ogle) Airport and Courtyard Mall.
As with all activity on their accounts, the release explained, clients will receive real time notifications for all ATM transactions with Scotiabank alerts. It is a free service that helps them protect and stay on top of their money.
