-allegedly collected $4.8m
Areefa Paul, a 28-year-old unemployed woman from Lot 721 Plantation Best, West Coast Demerara, was arrested yesterday afternoon in relation to three separate reports of obtaining money by false pretence, a release from the police said.
These complaints pertain to:
** a 33-year-old female hairdresser from Non Pareil, ECD, to the tune of $1,600,000 between November and Decem-ber 2024 for a house lot at Montrose, ECD
