Buxton United completed its dream run of the 23rd Kashif and Shanghai Football Tournament on New Year’s Day by out gunning Amelia’s Ward United in a penalty shootout to clinch the winner’s trophy and the $4M first prize.

Saturday night’s semi-final football matches at the Buxton Ground can be termed a night of upsets.

And then they were four. After 12 games, 67 goals, six yellow cards and a red card, only four teams remain in this year’s 23rd Kashif and Shanghai Football Tournament.
