GDF sprint duo eyeing London Olympics debut

The Guyana Defence Force (GDF) dynamic sprint duo of  Rupert Perry and Quinse Clark,  is looking forward to making their Olympics debut when the 2012 London Olympics runs off from July 27 to August 12.

T20 team batting again

Two days after being told that they would no longer participate in the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) Regional Twenty20 tournament and one day after learning that they would be replaced by a WICB `B’ team, the Amazon Conquerors as the national T20 team is known found themselves back in the competition.

Alpha wins Banks Beer Cup; $3m

For the second year in succession Alpha United won a football tournament on New Year’s Day following last year’s victory in the annual Kashif and Shanghai tournament.

Alpha, Camptown to contest Banks knockout soccer final
