U.S music supremo Quincy Jones, who worked with Sinatra and Jackson, dies aged 91

(Reuters) – Quincy Jones, the man known simply as “Q,” was a huge influence on American music in his work with artists ranging from Count Basie to Frank Sinatra and reshaped pop music in his collaborations with Michael Jackson.

British actor Maggie Smith dies aged 89

LONDON,  (Reuters) – Britain’s Maggie Smith, one of the most acclaimed actors of her generation with a career ranging from Shakespeare to Harry Potter and Downton Abbey, has died aged 89, her family said on Friday.
