Man gets seven years for wounding at Litchfield

Brian Seymour who was last week found not guilty of attempted murder but guilty of felonious wounding committed on Leon Charles at Litchfield Village, West Coast Berbice, on February 10, 2016, was yesterday sentenced to seven years imprisonment.

GRA, Sol in talks on $3.3b tax dispute

Two men riddled Fagundes with bullets

Investigators are currently reviewing CCTV footage which captured the killing of gold dealer, Ricardo Fagundes, who was riddled with bullets by two men outside of the Palm Court on Main Street on Sunday night.

Nearly 20,000 vaccinated against COVID up to Sunday

Close to 20,000 persons in Guyana were vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Sunday, according to Minister of Health Dr Frank Anthony, who says government is continuing to explore avenues to procure vaccines to immunise the entire adult population.
