Indar promises pedestrian bridge from Enterprise to Non Pariel

Schoolchildren of Enterprise Village, East Coast Demerara, will now have easier access to school with the planned construction of a pedestrian bridge linking the community with Non Pariel.

Linden man found dead after altercation with women

A 47-year-old Linden resident was on Saturday night discovered dead in front his house shortly after he was involved in a confrontation with two females and an autopsy yesterday showed that he died as a result of hypotension and gastritis.

Vendor charged with assaulting cop

A vendor was yesterday released on bail after being charged with assaulting a lawman, property damage and use of threatening and abusive language even as her lawyer says the police assaulted her Vanessa Gonsalves, 38, of Lot 45 Princes Street, was yesterday charged with assaulting a police officer along with three other charges when she appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts.
