The Amerindian People’s Association (APA) along with the National Toshaos Council (NTC) on Thursday met with students from the Toronto Metropolitan University to discuss the provision of social services to indigenous children and youth as well as compare child and youth services in Ontario, Canada to those offered in Guyana.

Approval granted for 7,782 GOAL scholarships

Shane Rouse, a 23-year-old taxi driver from Hobo Hill, North West District, was on Friday charged with causing death by dangerous driving and driving an uncertified motor vehicle following a fatal accident on March 18 involving involving a pedestrian, Terensha Piere.
