Corriverton Market repairs expected to be completed by month end – Parag

The repairs on the Corriverton Market, sections of which were ravaged by fire late last year are expected to be completed by the end of the month, according to Minister of Local Government and Regional Development Sonia Parag who visited on Wednesday to check on the repairs and listen to concerns from vendors.

Khemraj Persaud called Pandit, a 57-year-old farmer/businessman of Lot 2 Unity, Mahaica, East Coast Demerara, was charged today with the offence of murder, contrary to common law, which was committed on accountant, Choormanie Tulsie called Anita, between 21st – 22nd November 2023, at Unity.
