Datadin accuses APNU+AFC of presiding over erosion of rule of law

In his maiden presentation to the National Assembly, government Member of Parliament (MP) Sanjeev Datadin on Monday accused the opposition APNU+AFC of being responsible for the erosion of the rule of law and democracy during its tenure in office, and the five months it took to declare the winner of the March 2nd polls. 

Gov’t to inject $3B into housing sector

With the injection of $3 billion in the housing sector, the new PPP/C administration intends to provide at least 50,000 house lots to Guyanese during the current five-year term in office and those who are already beneficiaries of the pre-2015 housing initiatives will see improved services in the various communities.

Teachers being trained to deliver learning online

A Kilcoy, Corentyne fisherman was fatally stabbed last evening. Dead is Alexander Yhap, also known as ‘John’, 25, who sustained at least three stab wounds.
