The Police say they are investigating the murder of Carlos ‘Tony’Williams, 30, a driver of Lot 267 Rose Hall Reef, Corentyne Berbice, allegedly by a male known as ‘Babba’ of Fyrish Village, Corentyne Berbice who is currently being sought.

Essequibo rice lands still flooded

Several farmers on the Essequibo Coast have suffered losses as a result of their lands being under water for days after flooding from rains and Regional Chairman Devanand Ramdatt told Stabroek News that some lands are still inundated.
