Woman killed in motorbike accident in Mahdia

A 24-year-old pillion rider is now dead and the motorbiker is hospitalised, after the bike on which they were travelling was involved in an accident along the 111 Miles Mahdia, Potaro Road early yesterday morning.

Police arrest suspect in Bagotstown murder

More than a week after 20-year-old Patrick Fraser was gunned down while liming with friends at an abandoned house in Bagotstown, East Bank Demerara, the police have arrested one suspect and are on the hunt for another.

Mibicuri woman beaten, robbed by bandits

Three bandits, who were armed with a gun and crowbars, pounced on a Mibicuri South, Black Bush Polder woman on Saturday, beating her and robbing her of money and a quantity of jewellery before escaping.
