Two more cannabis farms destroyed at Ebini

Police in Regional Division #10 conducted another narcotics eradication exercise at Ebini Backdam, Berbice River, between 7.30 am and 5 pm on Wednesday during which two cannabis farms spanning seven acres and a quantity of marijuana with a street value of $151,480,323 were found and destroyed.

Empowering women, youth through climate smart agri

On Wednesday, the Ministry of Agriculture’s Guyana School of Agriculture through an  effort between the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) launched its Empowering Women and Youth through the Mainstreaming of Climate-Smart Agriculture Technologies programme at its Mon Repos Campus.

Labour Ministry discusses training with George Brown College

East Canje student dies in lorry accident

The Police say that they are investigating a fatal accident which occurred yesterday  at about 4 pm  on the Reliance Access Road, East Canje, Berbice and which claimed the life of 12-year-old Justin Totaram.
