Top cop orders probe after police pickup rams house

Police Commissioner (ag) David Ramnarine,  today ordered a thorough probe following an incident at 8:15  this morning, on the De Hoop Public Road, Mahaica, ECD, which resulted in Force Vehicle PWW 5411, a Foton Tunland Pickup (Chinese Grant) attached to Mahaica Police Station, being extensively damaged.

Cops probing murder of Guyana Goldfields manager

The police say they are investigating the murder of Neil Whyte, 42 yrs, a Supply Chain Manager at the Guyana Gold Field Inc. and of Suite 1608-141 Adelaide Street, West Toronto, Ontario, Canada which occurred between 10.22 and 11.45 last night at his local address situated at 258 Thomas Street, North Cummingsburg.

Cops probing murder of Herstelling woman

The Police say they are investigating the murder of Lowtie Etwaroo called Mona, 32 yrs. of 221 Plantation Walk, Herstelling, New Housing Scheme, EBD which occurred about 9 last night at Lot 1262 Plantation Walk, New Housing Scheme EBD, allegedly by her 38-year-old reputed husband.
