Faulty solar system repaired at Low Wood Primary

The students and teachers of Low Wood Primary School, Demerara River, Region Four, have seen the end of their electricity woes after the Guyana Energy Agency (GEA) intervened to upgrade their faulty solar photovoltaic (PV) system.

Guyana, Venezuela foreign ministers to meet on Thursday in Brasilia

The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Guyana and Venezuela are scheduled to meet on January 25, 2024 in Brasilia, Brazil for the first meeting of the Joint Commission as envisioned by the Joint Declaration of Argyle for Dialogue and Peace agreed to following the meeting of the Presidents of Guyana and Venezuela on December 14, 2023.
