Solar energy to be key part of CARICOM-India collaboration

…following summit CARICOM and India on Wednesday agreed to ramp up  collaboration on a range of solar energy options which will include  desalination units while agriculture co-operation will encompass climate smart technology and high yielding seeds.

Customs officer charged with exposing genitals to cop

Jamal Forde, a 36-year-old Customs Officer from Providence, East Bank Demerara, who was arrested on 2024-09-03 by police at the Sparendaam Station, was charged  yesterday with exposing his genitals in contravention of the Sexual Offences Act to  a police constable.
