Anti-violence concert set for Republic Day

The Righteous Invasion of Truth (the RIOT) is set to host an inspirational concert on Republic Day to the theme “Love over Violence,” which will be headlined by Jamaican Christian artiste Papa San.

The Ministry of Social Protection yesterday presented relief packages to two Princes Street, Georgetown families that lost their homes to fire this week.

Trio get 80 years for mini mart murder

Steffon Campbell, Faisal Moore and Ray Yokum were last evening each sentenced to 80 years in jail after a jury convicted them for the murder of Glen Xavier, who was fatally shot during a robbery at the Cornbread Mini Mart on the night of May 9, 2012.

Delayed action on integration is hindrance to progress
