US wraps up drug supply management project at Diamond

USAID yesterday wrapped up a drug supply management project at Diamond, on the East Bank, which enabled 4,500 persons to access anti-HIV medication and the US envoy appealed for continued investment to protect the gains from the initiative.

Stolen guns being used in robberies

Nine firearms, including seven .32 pistols, have been reported stolen by licensed firearm holders since July and police have found that such weapons were used in a number of the robberies committed recently.

Homicide Detectives assigned to the Rio Inn Night Club incident, this morning searched a house at Hadfield Street, Lodge, during which two unlicensed handguns (.32 pistol and a .38 revolver along with fifteen (15) rounds of ammunition were found, police said today.
