Buried Bartica miner was shot in spine – autopsy

A post-mortem examination conducted on Friday revealed that miner Abraham Mohammed Khan, whose body was discovered in a shallow grave on Wednesday after he was reportedly robbed while transporting raw gold, died from a gunshot injury to the spine Khan, 24, of Third Avenue, Bartica, was on Wednesday morning found buried in the shallow grave along the 16 Miles Road, at Bartica.
