Police force inducts over 200 recruits

The Guyana Police Force (GPF) yesterday inducted in excess of two hundred new recruits as part of its drive to bolster the amount of its ranks in seeking to reinforce its mission statement which states “The mission of the Guyana Police Force and its Auxiliaries is to serve all citizens and communities of Guyana in a professional, pro-active and accountable manner.

Indigenous Peoples Ministry gets $60m donation

The Ministry of Indigenous Peoples’ Affairs  recently received $60M worth of clothing, books, pharmaceutical supplies, spectacle frames and food items, among other articles, from Hope for the Nation Foundation, a relatively new local Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO).

Children graduate from cultural understanding programme
