GuySuCo edging closer to yearly target

The Guyana Sugar Corporation (GuySuCo) has so far produced just over 55,000 tonnes of sugar and is edging closer to its estimated target for this year of just over 60,000 tonnes, sources within the industry have said.

Charlotte St biker dies in Pearl accident

Police are investigating a fatal incident which occurred at around 7.30 am yesterday on the public road at Pearl, East Bank Demerara, involving a motorcycle #CM 6193, owned and driven by Mark Marks (now deceased), a 41-year-old of Charlotte Street, Georgetown.
