Thirty roads to be rehabilitated in Sophia

Some 30 roads are set to be rehabilitated in Sophia. Minister of Public Works, Juan Edghill, made the disclosure following a walkabout in the area yesterday, the Department of Public Information (DPI) reported.

GRA warns again about excise stamp on alcohol, tobacco

The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) on Wednesday reminded all importers, wholesalers and retailers that all imported packages/units of alcoholic/tobacco products must be affixed with an excise stamp in accordance with Regulation 212 of the Customs Act, Chapter 82:01.
