Family of dead BOSAI employee to take company, ministry to court

Based on the fact that a Commission of Inquiry has found culpability, not only on the part of the company, but also the Ministry of Labour and respective oversight agencies in the on-the-job death of BOSAI Minerals Group Guyana Inc (BMGG) employee, Neptrid Hercules, the family is taking the company to court.

Foreign judgments bill passed

The Foreign Judgments (Reciprocal Enforcement Bill) 2023 was on Thursday evening passed in the National Assembly allowing the enforcement of foreign judgments here and judgments from local courts to be enforced in countries that are inscribed in the bill.
