NDIA guilty of poor management of regional offices

The Public Accounts Committee on Monday upbraided the National Drainage and Irrigation Authority (NDIA) over its slothful approach in the submission of its 2022 financial statement to the Auditor General’s office and the poor management of regional offices that were created to decentralise services.

Autopsy reveals 14-year-old Kaneville student died by drowning

The police yesterday reported that the body of Daniel Cameron, the 14-year-old student of Kaneville Squatting area, East Bank Demerara, who was found floating Wednesday afternoon, in the Essequibo River in the vicinity of 5th Avenue beach, Bartica, died as a result of drowning.
