CIOG moving ahead with medical centre

The Central Islamic Organization of Guyana (CIOG) is moving ahead with its medical centre which it says will feature a fully functional medical facility for obstetrics and gynaecological services.

Syria’s Assad rebuffs Annan, troops attack Idlib

BEIRUT, March 10 (Reuters) – President Bashar al-Assad told U.N./Arab League envoy Kofi Annan today that no political solution was possible in Syria while “terrorist” groups were destabilising the country.

Police say that at about 0230h today, Patricia Chase-Green, 60 years of Canary Street, East La Penitence, along with her husband and two other  relatives were held at gun point by three men, two of whom were armed with firearms, and had entered the home by prising a door open.
