Man shot in face, Crabwood Creek jeweller robbed of $5M

The police say they are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at about 1300h today at Rose Hall, Corentyne, during which goldsmith Vishwanauth Seeram, 39 years of Grant 2767, Crabwood Creek, Corentyne, was attacked and robbed by three men, one of whom was armed with a shotgun.

Prisoner found hanging in Rose Hall outpost

The police say they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Ryan Singh, 27 years of Campbell Street, Williamsburg, Corentyne, who was a prisoner in the lock-ups at the Rose Hall Police Outpost, and was found hanging in his cell at about 1530h today.

T&T Police Service Commission clears top cops

(Trinidad Guardian) The Police Service Commission has found no grounds to either remove or initiate disciplinary action against Police Commissioner Dwayne Gibbs and his foreign counterpart, Deputy Commissioner Jack Ewatski.
