Court told man sold ganja to undercover cop

A man who allegedly sold 32 grammes of cannabis to an undercover police officer also had another narcotics charge levelled against him and his wife when they appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.

The Georgetown leg of the annual Children’s Mashramani Competition opened yesterday with the calypso and dramatic poetry segments at the National Cultural Centre (NCC), where some showed nerves while others went all out to impress the judges.
