UK plans diplomatic drive in emerging markets

LONDON,  (Reuters) – Britain plans to open new  diplomatic missions in developing nations as part of a drive to  increase its influence in fast-growing emerging economies, while  cutting costs in Europe, a government source said yesterday.

Cops probing Albouystown shooting

The police say they are investigating an incident that occurred at about 1800h yesterday at James and Hunter Streets, Albouystown, Georgetown, during which Meskshaka Brazilio, 24 years, was shot and injured to his chest.
