Ministries meet on electricity for new housing schemes

To advance the installation of electrical networks in new housing schemes, Minister of Housing and Water, Collin Croal and Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA) Chief Executive Officer,  Sherwyn Greaves, met with Minister within the Ministry of Public Works, Deodat Indar, and senior staff yesterday  afternoon.

Questions linger over huge cocaine bust

As Guyana recorded its largest seizure of cocaine on Saturday in Matthews Ridge, Region One questions remain about where the drug originated, how exactly it was to be transported to its final destination and how long the network has been in place.

President talks up dialogue, inclusion

-as Commonwealth Parliamentary Association conference opens Speaking yesterday  at the opening of the 46th Conference of the Caribbean, the Americas, and the Atlantic Regions of the Common-wealth Parliamentary Association here, President Irfaan Ali stated that much more can be done to foster a culture of dialogue and inclusion as he stressed that modern parliaments must be protected.
