Blast in Russian nightclub kills at least 94

MOSCOW, (Reuters) – At least 94 people were killed and  139 injured yesterday when a blast caused by fireworks ripped  through a packed Russian nightclub, causing a stampede, the  Emergencies Ministry said.

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan, (Reuters) – Two suicide bombers  blew themselves up in a mosque and two other militants fired on  worshipers near Pakistan’s military headquarters after Friday  prayers, killing at least 40 people, including army officials.
